Wide Basket Weave Stitch Texture
This Knit Stitch Pattern looks complex, but it just a simple combination of knits and purls.
- Texture Design: Blocked textures are stacked together in this variation on the standard Basket Weave Stitch. Horizontal rows are knitted in a wider stitch pattern than vertical columns. Wide horizontal rows alternate in the Stockinette and Garter stitch textures.
- Stitch Techniques: A series of easy knits and purls create the design.
- Row Repeat: This 10-Row Repeat Knit Stitch Pattern is a great choice for knitting up impressive blankets, pillows, scarves, and more.
- Not Reversible: This is not a reversible pattern because the right side of the work displays the design, but the wrong (back) side does not. However, you can see that the differences on each side are practically imperceptible. Go ahead and treat this as reversible if you’d like… your choice!
