Large Stacked Triangle Stitch Knitting Pattern for Beginners
The Large Stacked Triangle Stitch Knitting Pattern creates interconnected Stockinette and Garter Stitch shapes.
Design a bold texture in a 28-Row Repeat. Similar to my Pique Triangle Stitch, here is a great choice to create graphic scarves, pillow covers, and blankets. Enjoy this easy-level project with a simple combination of knits and purls.

CLOSER LOOK at the Large Stacked Triangle Stitch Pattern
Let’s take a close look at our Large Stacked Triangle Stitch Pattern, seeing exactly how those knits and purls create this swatch. There are two different triangle textures, the smooth Stockinette Stitch and the raised purl bumps of the Garter Stitch.
Note that the Garter Stitch actually is created with alternating purl and knit stitches to allow for the garter design to match the length of the stockinette.
This is not a reversible pattern because the right side of the work displays the smooth Stockinette triangles, while the wrong (back) side does not.
